Other searches show that this problem is related to the blower motor control switch. That was in the '02 - '05 forum. Same search shows nothing here....So....My 2007 Eddie Bauer yesterday just started the vehicle and the defrost fan just began running full blast, the entire heat/cool system was off.
Now it won't shut off, very annoying...

Anyone had this on an '07...? if so, was it the blower control switch? and if so, where the #$%* is that switch located on an '07?

Help.

You need a blower speed controller located behind the glovebox.

So when I left the grocery store, I start the EB.....the fan doesn't run.....hmmm. Then it kicks on after about 30seconds...ok....next stop is the dealer for the part. Guess what didn't happen after I left the dealer....yep, fan stayed off. Oh well $80 bucks for the part it will prob go on again. Doesn't look too difficult to install.

I am having the exact same issue with my '07 Eddie Bauer, it just started Jan 3rd.

Have you resolved the problem?

What was the part (#/ name?)

Like I said above, it just stopped doing it on its own.......hasn't done it again since although I still have the replacement part.
The Ford number on the box says this:

ONE 6L2Z-19E624-A Control

Its a fan motor relay. The Fiche that the parts guys bring up is lousy, doesn't show where it goes or the size of it, or anything really at all to give a guy a clue about it. It goes behind the glove box.
