If the defroster doesn't work at all then it's probably a fuse or a bad switch. If it's just the light then you need to replace the switch.

what switch (the defroster does work)

The button with the light in it.

What does that involve that doing

Take off the radio surround by taking out the 2 bolts holding it in; snap it off; unhook the old switch and take it out; put the new one in and put the surround back on.

Or just replace the $3.75 bulb with an F32Z-13466-H from Ford.

what are they, bulbs of some kind?

Yeah, I asked for the bulb replacement and FordParts.com said you had to replace the switch. Where can you get just the bulbs?

Give the parts guy the part number Robert provided.

What's the headlight one for listed above.

I got my bulbs from Torrie at Fordpartsnetwork however after the $7 shipping and handling on $13 worth of bulbs it would have just been cheaper to go to Ford and get them there.

I need the seat recline level anyways.

I'm now trying to see if there is anything else to save on shipping.

My questions about the headlight one is What's if or?

It's not the headlight

It's the bulb in the headlight switch that lights up your three circle areas for off, park and headlight.

AHHH. that makes sence

Thanks, and thanks for pointing out Ford Parts network Beautiful site

the light on my defroser switch doesn't work all the time either, if I push on button a few time, it will usually light up.

Just something else with this headache of a vehicle...

Awesome. I think I'm gonna have to come up with some other parts to order to make it worth while for the S&H! THANKS ROBERT!

Any luck with cruise control button lights????? :D

Tom, what do you mean any luck with the cruise control button lights? The bulb & part number I wrote on my picture is all you'll need. Each switch gets one bulb. The cruise button lights are very easy to replace if you remove the air-bag and then pull the entire switch out. Start to finish is about 10 minutes. It is possible to replace the bulb by prying off the rubber cover and then popping the circuit board out but getting things back together correctly (especially the rubber switch cover) took more time and cussing than just removing the airbag. The airbag is only held in with two small bolts on each side of the wheel. Disconnect the battery first, remove the airbag and then you can remove each switch by removing the two small phillips screws that hold it in. Pay attention to which way the bulb goes in though (it points away from you). The first time I did it, I put the pulb in so it was pointing up at me as I sat in the seat. That left a bump in the button from the bulb poking through. I had to R&R it again. When I removed my other switch to verify which way the bulb was supposed to go, the bulb in the other switch quit working when I put it back together so I had to use my spare (& R&R the other side). The first switch I tried doing without removing the airbag. The next three times I removed the airbag and spent less time during those three times than I did the first time without removing the airbag.

My Bad. I scanned real quick and only saw your post with the # for headlights. That's what I get for trying to get thru all the new posts since yesterday in ~ hour during lunch! Thanks for the instuctions too!

P.S. Is that F32Z-13466-H ? I'll assume it is.... the 2/Z kinda look alike, but I figure the # scheme will be the same as the others.
