yes. if you use your hand and try to lift the pedal away from the floor, and it actually moves away from the floor, then you have some slack in there. (the reason your pedal is so close to the floor is because theres too much slack in the throttle cable.)
Sorry, I'm a bit of a n00b to modding Explorers, could someone give me linkage to this Throttle Cable mod? Or post some instructions. My '92 seems a bit lax and it doesn't seem like it's going WOT.
