diesel x?

diesels kick ass, i will start off with that, and with that being said has anyone ever thought tried to or successfully completed a diesel engine swap into their x? i have been thinking about trying to do it with a cummins 4BT. but was curious if it had been done...

Yeah, a couple people here have done it. I considered it at one point, but never went through with it. What I want to do is buy a wrecked Superduty, chop the frame, and put an Explorer body on it. Then, have a one ton running gear, a 7.3 litre diesel, and a strong frame all in one package.
