Differential tag question.

Hello, I can t seem to find information anywhere else on the web regarding a ford explorer differential tag information.. I have a 2002 explorer and the tag reads 652E

3L73 88 2M09
I know it s a 3.73 ratio locker with 8.8 ring gear but what is the 652E

If I remember right, that number is simply the axle model number. That's the number you could theorotically give to the people at Ford when buying parts or looking up service information.

Thanks I am getting ready to replace entire rear differential, pinion and ring gear and want to be sure I get right one
