Digger get BL on 95X!

If you don't use the stock bushings you'll have nothing to screw into. And I don't need to tell you how sucky that would be.

I noticed you have an AXE up on the roof rack. Tell me, when does that come in handy? :D

heck i could have used that AXE many times before i didn't have it to break large limbs off trees that are in my way. you never know what you need on the trail untill you do need it and you don't have it so bring everything you might need!

correct on what section said and also i kept in the stock block that was there and added to that. your suppost to take that out but i didn't.

Hey man, thats supposed to stay in there.. did you measure the fender wells before and after to get the height numbers?

yeah 35.5 before and 38 after.

nope. didn't think of that.

thank you. i tryed to use the rear bumper brackets fron the kit to lift the rear bumper but it didn't work so my dad is going to get 2 made tomorrow useing the 3" BL brackets that is on the forum. hopfully that'll work and i get the flow master in, then i'll work on the front bumper/brush guard.

I don't know about anyone else, but it looks like your front wheels are way out of alignment in the front end pic. Your pass side wheel looks like it toed way out...

Where did you get it done and how much was it?

I know, look at the pass wheel then look at the driver wheel then look back at the pass wheel. Do this until you agree with me :). I dunno, it just looks like the toe on that side is a little much.

that's just the angle of the shot. my tires are fine. why would it change with a body lift anyways? your lifting the body and doing nothing with the suspenchen.

According to you, you did a suspension lift. ;) JK

How many bolts did you have to buy, and what do you reckon you spent on bolts?

Any problems or difficulties? (Front most body bolts, dropping the radiator schroud... etc)

Thanks man

EDIT: Oh, and how tall are you? Just for a comparo in the picture.

i didn't have to buy any bolts. kit came with them. i'm 6 fott exactually w/o shoes.

only problem was the shroud and the kit didn't have a lowering thing so we just cut it the bottom part that was hitting it off.

sorry to call is suspenchen lift. should have said body lift.

Did you drill the body bushings with a 1/2" drill bit?

haha, no worries. I was just hassling ya.

Why you didn't just put on a 3" Body lift? I am just wondering, since you were trying to get more than 2" out of it. By the way, the stock rubber mounts stay in for vibration isolation. You wouldn't want the lift blocks to sit directly on the frame!

I made the bumper brackets for the front and rear. The rear brackets are just rectangles...extremely easy to do. The front ones aren't that much harder.

As for the radiator shroud, did you lower it with drop brackets and cut the bottom out? I'm pretty sure I didn't have to trim anything when I lowered mine.

Mascman - i didn't lower the shoud, just cut it.

i beleave it was a 9/16 bit it i'm not wrong

Mascman, do you have a superlift kit on your truck in that picture in addtion to the BL, or is that just with TT, shackles + 3" BL? That thing looks HUGE compared to that XJ!
