Dim Gauges...

I just bought my truck and the gauges are REALLY dim. They are almost not even on. Even the A/C gauges. The radio does not light up either. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but does anyone have any suggestions what could be the problem? Thanks in advance.

I tried adjusting the potentiometer switch and that does nothing to adjust the level of the light... Just so you know...

..it sounds like that is the part you need to replace...if you dial it up/down and it does nothing, it's time for a new one...

I figured that the gauges straight up wouldn't work if that was bad... but being a potentiometer... I guess it's contacts could be stuck in postion even if I could move the switch...

not trying to change the thread or anything but is it possible to change the color of the stock green gauge glow (tongue twister )?

you can replace the guages with white instrument panel pieces.
