disable factory alarm

Hi,

I have a stock, non-modified 1998 Ford Explorer Sport. Does anyone know how to completely disable the alarm?

It is going off at random time.

I see some posts suggest this is a battery problem, a hood switch problem, or perhaps a circuit board is wet. I am sure it's one of those things. However, I am not interested in diagnosing this in depth. I am tired of the alarm. I just want it off for good, by removing a fuse or disconnecting a cable.

Any ideas?

I think the brain box is on the left side of the rig oin the cargo area. It should have a sticker with the door unlock code on it. set the alarm off and pull the relay that is in the box next to it that clicks with the horn.
