Is this easy to do? What needs to be done? Just take apart the armrest and yank the radio connections?

I am going to be driving down to NC and I know my back seat passengers are going to be annoying and screw around with the radio in the back seat.

Why couldn't Ford have made a disable button????

Heh, they did :D

Push the 3 and 5 memory buttons at the same time. The headphones should disappear from the LED.

Jason- YOU ARE THE MAN! :D

yeah good idea, i know when i have friends back there. who just try and piss me off so i will take care of that :)

Thanks Jason! It worked! The funny thing is, I combed through the owner's manual and there is no mention of this override function.

Yeah, the manual doesn't mention it at all. I'm glad I know how to do that now, I also have friends that mess with it to annoy me.

How did you figure that out Jason?

hmmm.. my manual tells how.

not the manual for the truck, but the manual for the stereo. Mines told me how.

Yes, one day a shady man in a black trenchcoat came to my house and asked for me, he said follow me, and we went to my truck, and he bestowed upon me the ultimate explorer secret, how to disable the rear radio controls!!! :D
