I'm doing a clutch job and it has gone from bad to worse. i need to disconnect the slave cylinder but cannot find the tool, any ideas? I got the 1/2" fuel line disconnect tool, but it's too fat to fit into the groove. How do you disconnect it?

Also, are the holes in the TOP of the bellhousing supposed to have plugs in them or not?

Your clutch kit should come with the disconnect tool, or you can get it at most auto parts stores.

Using 1 or sometimes 2 standard flat blade screwdrivers to push the white disconnect ring in can work, but usually results in messing it up some, so either be careful or only mess it up if you're replacing the master cylinder line as well.

ALL holes are supposed to have plugs in them.

If the three holes at the top are missing their rubber plugs, replace them with metal freeze plugs. Theres a thread on here somewhere with the part number...

He is talking about the 2 square-ish holes in the bellhousing itself.

No, those are not supposed to have plugs in them.
