Display light went out

My '99 Mach Audio information display went blank. So I don't know what channel I am on or the time, etc.

Is this a common problem? Is there an easy fix?

Warranty? Usually hotlines are pretty good about something like a display that there is virtually nothing you could have done to break it

IT ALWAYS HAPPENS!!!! I took my HU back to the dealer cause it was under waranty still. then right after i passed 36,000 miles, the display went out again. so i bought an aftermarket one. Problem solved. i duno why it happens.

Yes your not the only one this has happen too, it has happen to mine also about three
times in the last two months. It starts to fade out then goes blank for awhile, sometimes
it comes back half on. Now its back on, still can't find out why? But next time I'll be looking
for an after market on.

You are not alone, my friend. Mine died as the ink was drying on the warranty/

I started a thread on this a couple of months ago and never did get any information on what it costs to repair.

Any ideas?
