Hey guys, stupid question but are fourth Gen seats bolt on? I've seen some old old threads about the seat rails possibly being the same and I'm curious if anybody has done it. And if it's not bolt on, how difficult the process is.
My third Gen seat is basically toast at this point, and I've been stalking local junk yards for a year now to no success for good condition third Gen seats. It doesn't help that I have a mountaineer, that's tan interior, with this weird spec of leather seats that's almost impossible to find. I could settle for the more common leather seats but I can't even find those not ripped lol. But I keep finding so many good condition fourth Gen seats and I imagine it would last longer being newer. I could pay to get mine reupholstered but I don't want to put that kind of money into this truck.
