Hi, I want to lift my 94 explorer 2dr, 2wd, 1.5 inch. I have found a pair of spring lifts from rough country in the following address on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/91-9...42609QQitemZ7991023321QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

Now I know I need to add a pair of shackles ( WAR 153) to this set up. Do I need anything else for 1.5 lift other than items mentioned above/ (like steering wheel extension or other stuff)

Thanks

To be honest with ya, you could lift the front of your X about 1.5", by the use of '92-'96 Ford 2wd F150 spring seats, for about $30. For such a small amount of lift, this may be a more practical approach.

In the rear, Warrior shackles may give you 1.5" of lift, but depending on the "saggage" of your leaf packs, they may not give you that much. In addition to the shackles, you may need to incorporate some add-a-leafs to the packs to help you out.

Other than an alignment when you are done, that should be all you need.

Good Luck!

Rob, I knew about the spring seats, I just thought since my original springs are really old it would be a good idea just to replace them instead of adding a spring seat. Thanks again for your prompt responce.

skyjacker or superlift has a 2" lift with new springs. i think you can get them on summit for ~$150
