I bought this about a week ago, and it just arrived today.

This is the biggest piece of **** I have ever spent money on. ($105)

You want to know what the OFFICIAL way the "manufacturer" wants to you attach this? Wire ties.

Not only that, it doesn't FREAKING FIT. I'd have to JAM this grill into position over my current one to get it to work, completely scratching up all the plastic around it in the process.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE... IT SUCKS!

What oh what could make this worse? If the clear corners I have coming turned out to be Saran Wrap I guess...

lol i have that same grill but I only paid $70 for it on ebay...ya I was pretty pissed it zip tied on to my original grill...but aye! it's still there! Even after 100 degree weather the zip ties still havent melted! =)

ouch. . sorry to hear. I don't know, I'm lookin at the pic in the link you posted. looks like the grille is (cheaply) photoshopped into the pic. the bottom part of the grille was copied from part of the top part of the grille with the stamp too. just thought I'd point that out

Overexaggerting, big time. They fit snugly, and you should've know BEFOREHAND it was an overlay. So don't go blaming all of this on them, okay.

I used to have one, and it was fine. Jeez.

don't worry too much airforcemook, i bought one too thinking it was quality cause of the 25 bars. I was seriously mistaken. The worst part, my grille shell was already modified to accept a "REAL" billet grille and there was no way i could attach zip ties to it. I give these people credit though, there customer service is pretty good and they refunded me in full for the grille i bought

Draft, I understand it's an overlay and that was simply my mistake. I actually don't have a problem with the fact it IS an overlay since there really isn't anything else out there.

Problem is: It DOESN'T fit. This just doesn't fit "snug" I'd have to cram it in. It's got an odd (over-exaggerated) curve to it that requires me to forcibly push the middle portion of it in for a 'correct' look. The problem is that it's slightly too wide.

They're customer service isn't too bad, they did say they would refund me the purchase price if I sent it back (assuming it wasn't damaged), but how was I supposed to know it wasn't going to fit *before* I ripped off the ford emblem (now reapplied with silicone), and scratching up a lot of the plastic in the process?

I'm going to ask them if they'll simply trim it some and mail it back. It *should* fit then and I'd be happy with it then...

If it only needs to be simply trimmed a little why don't you do it yourself? I realize it would be nice to have things fit 100%, but if it only requires minor modification to fit I would rather do it myself than send it back and take the chance it gets screwed up worse than it is now..

The grill doesn't look the greatest even when you install it IMO.

Now you know why I got rid of mine?

airforcemook - This may be a case of the "luck of the draw", but putting the company down for something that requires some elbow grease or trimming is just obnoxious. My EE airdam had some troubles getting up there, had to tweak it at times to fit and stay straight, but I got it. Others went right up, it all depends, but you don't see me lashing at EE for a product that required me to do my part...

Honestly, if you're not enjoying trying to make things work, or generally working on the truck, maybe you just need to take a break and cool off. This is supposed to be FUN, and nothing less. We're here to help each other, so don't get all sprung up next time.

Use an angle grinder or something of the sort to slim it down. That should work.

When I buy something other than a fiberglass part I expect it to fit perfectly. Problem is, discount parts like this just aren't made with the same quality as others.
