I have been wanting to do all this stuff to my X for years now, but as soon as I got it all on and looking good, I realized I can't drive to Manhattan anymore. My truck used to just blend in with all the others, but now I'm so paranoid something's gonna happen to it. I could have a top of the line security system, and there are people here who will still f#$5 with it for no reason. This town sucks. And I hate to take public transportation, so even though I have a 30 min ride into manhattan, I won't do it anymore.

well my grandfather had the best alarm on his old chevy, it was a modle-t alltinater and it was set right next the body panels and when some one would lean up against the car this little trip wire would move and hit the body and then *BANG* a big shock that would leave a bruise......i should call him up and ask him how he did it.

i worry all the time, and i don't even have that nice of a system or real big rims like you guys. but then again i have a reason since my systems been stolen, i've had fogs stolen, and i've been keyed once, and had a quarter panel kicked in once.

I just want to know how you know who keyed your truck? Did you see him do it or is he just a suspect in your book?

Oh and how is keying somebody else's paint gonna fix your paint? It's not.

There will always be some friggin idiot who is out to ruin your stuff, no matter what, where, when. If you truly take pride in your truck dont worry about revenge, worry about making your truck right again. If somebody steals your stereo do you go steal another to replace it?

It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to get a truck like mine, if somebody keys my paint 1 week after I paint it it's not gonna make a dent in my dedication, I'll paint the damn truck all over again if thats what it takes to make it right, not go key their car because I think they were the ones to do it. Is it that easy to break your spirit?

SO what happens if you get caught while getting revenge? then you have to pay to fix their paint, possibly get arrested, and your truck is still scratched! Not smart...

I second what 410Fortune said. If you have some REAL proof that that person did that to your car, go alert the local athorities, then they will get in trouble, and will have to pay to have your truck fixed. If you f*** with his truck, you are just stooping down to his level.

Son? Hartman? I am older then you buddy, so there is no reason to start being an ass. I cant really alert the authorities now... they did it in September... so that wouldnt really work. And yes i know for sure its him because I saw him walking away from my truck when we came out to play basketball. Revenge is the best way and I am hard headed so there is no way your gonna make me change my thought process. My spirit isnt broken, im gonna get my car fixed. I am gonna make sure his has to get fixed also.

Do you think if you key his vehicle it will end there? I mean he's gonna know it was you if he was the one that keyed yours, then he's gonna flatten all 4 of your tires or pour some sugar in your tank or worse....

My point is just leave the cars out of it, you wanna stoop to his level? My insurace rates are too high as it is, if everyone seeked revenge for every scratch, dent, smear, etc, they would be even higher.
