Do you like the term "Exploder"?

Personally I absolutely HATE the term Exploder . Whenever I hear the word I think it gives the explorer a bad name. It just bugs me when people who know about explorers call it that. There is just nothing postive in the name. But thats my opinion, what is yours?

I don't like it.. I used to hate it also, but have gotten used to it, b/c all my buddies that I wheel with are jeep guys, so I'd don't care AS MUCH, but I still don't like it. There's a lot of stereotypes put on Explorers that are very untrue.

People always badmouth the Bronco II as well, Why build that POS, Ford's worst vehicle since hte Pinto, all that crap.
In a off road world dominated by Jeeps (numbers, not performance) of course you will be viewed as the underdog...to me thats just fine! building the underdog into something that will make most Jeeps look stupid just makes them eat their words.

Besides its not like the Explorer actually Explodes as the name suggests, we leave that up to Chevy Trailblazers

My engine went bye,bye at 67,000mi. and my 5 spd. went bye, bye not long after that. Neither one exploded. They just sorta wimped out. I think Exploder is a compliment!
