does the stock 6 disc changer play mp3s

I am about to buy a 2003 xlt with the dvd and 6 disc changer, i would like to know if they play mp3s, cd-r , and cd-rw formats

The thing you have to remember about MP3's is that normal cd burners convert MP3 formatted audio into a musical data that can be recognized by most CD players - which is why the cd is based on time and not filesize (80 min CD-Rs). MP3 cd's are actually burnt in a data disk (not audio) format and can only be read by MP3 compatible players. So you can take your MP3's off of your computer, but it'll be in the regular audio format. (Sorry, you can only get 10 hours of music on 1 disc in MP3 format).
