Well today was work on the truck day. I seam to have those every 3 or 4 months. Today it was shocks all around and the leaf spring shackles. I think judging by the passenger side one it was a good thing to replace both of them.
Id love to add some pictures but im not allowed to or I to stupid to see how to do it.
But the say the least the passenger side shackle was rusted through on the cent side of the shackle and only had about a dime patch left on the out side of the shackle.
It took my dad and me about 45 minutes of air hammering on the bolt to drive the dam thing out. The driver side i could pull out with my hands. Replacing them was very easy and only took total for both side about 15 minutes the removal well that was a very different issue altogether.
The shocks those were the easiest thing to but on the worst part was me breaking the tip of the front passenger side shock off which made removal a snap.
If somebody tells me how ill post the pictures.
