some tips and tricks would be good

I use 15 quarts of Amsoil ATF for a complete flush.

With just the pan, it will be about 3-4.

it's done that gasket was a mother untill we put some VASELINE on the pan where the gasket goes that held the gasket in place
neat trick

I usually use a little grease. I learned that when I used to work at spiffy lube. It sounds like vienershlick works too.
