Dome light replacement

This should be simple but I don't have a manual and don't want to break anything. One of the two lights burned out in my dome/map light housing. How do you pop the lense off to replace the bulbs?

The light cover can be removed with any slotted tool like a small flat head screwdriver, sometimes it can be removed by hand only.
The bulb itself has to be pushed in slightly and then turned counter-clockwise to remove...it's a spring loaded type receptacle....

How do you get the bulbs out of the bulb housing? The wires are like soldered to the pos/neg terminals on mine. WTH?
