Let me know what you think, folks.
Stock '94, dome lights won't come on when any of the doors are open, though the switch can be turned all the way counter clockwise, and it will come on. I have no idea when it started, never even noticed, but my kids are driving it now so I'd like to get it fixed.
I presume the switch is a 3 position deal, as follows: all the way counter clockwise, dome light constant on; next click right, dome light on only when doors are open; second click right, dome light off always, dimming dash lights.
I'm thinking that middle position isn't working. It's got to be a common problem, since none of the doors will cause it to come on. We had a serious cargo window leak until I fixed it last summer, so I'm thinking maybe some contacts in the switch corroded?
