Door Ajar light on

whatever sensor tells the vehicle that the drivers door is closed is not workin properly and my dome lights are not shutting off when I turn off and lock my explorer, causing my battery to die.

is there a way to bypass the sensor and just jump a wire or something so this stupid light goes off, it's irritating making sure that I manually shut everything off in my truck at night so my battery doesn't die.

check the hatch, the power lock for the hatch was messed up and my door ajar light wouldnt shut off, so i had to replace that assembly before it went away

spray the locks with wd 40 or something similar and open and shut the door a few times and it should help...i had the same issue and this solved it

its the ground wire. check it. mine did the same thing. tried WD40 then the ground wire.
