Door strike help!

Hola everyone, went to change a door strike bushing in the drivers side rear and the threaded part fell into the door frame. From what I can see, its a hollow tubed section of frame and I've never heard of this problem. Any insights on how to replace or retrieve lost part?

I did the same thing with mine, but after removing some interior trim the nut was easily retrieved.
