double din head unit install help

i'm trying to install a double din head unit, and it's made for nissan/toyota vehicles. i took it to best buy and circuit city, and they told me there's no way to make any aftermarket double din hu fit in an explorer.

were any of you guys able to install any aftermarket double din hu in an explorer? and if so, how? any install kits available?

You need to find kit made by Metra model 99-5205. There will be some trimming of the factory bezel but will not be seen. I dont recommend the big box chains if they are already too lazy to help. (CC had this in stock just a year ago in the STL area). Good Luck.
