Dre is "Back in the game"!

You know... lots of things are going through my mind today. This truck could be a great off-road vehicle. So what if the frame is bent a little? It might not be bent at all. I might be just seeing things. I need to rethink it once again... take the front suspension down and look it over once more. I'm gonna need measurments on the frame to check if it's out of wack and if it is how bad is it. It might not matter much if I'm gonna convert to solid axle...

Can anyone get me measurements between frame rails right where the tranny support bracket attaches and where radius arm bracket begins?

thanks!

Who cares if the frame's bent (well, if it's not off by a a lot)? If it's going to be 98% off road, it doesn't matter.

Glad to hear you're getting back into the game... Your X pictured below was a huge reason for getting me off my butt and installing a 4" Skyjacker II lift in my '93 Xlt... What measurements are you looking for?

Oh boy! the Un-Limited has been sold long time ago... I have no clue where it's at right now. It was probably my best "creation" so far.

As for the frame... I just want to see how much it's off. That's why I asked for dimensions... I need to know the distance between framerails (at the bottom) right where radius arm bracket is attached. I'm preety sure frame straightening can be expensive but yet again, this is gonna be 90% trail vevicle so I don't really care if rides sideways...

but I might drive it to and from the trail although I've been contemplating buying a trailer and hauling it using my Mounty... got a V8 in it. This way I will not have to worry if I tear or brake something on the trail. ;)

I might not have time to do anything today but will see if I can tear it apart tomorrow or Sunday.

UHM, looks ,, how long are u giving it? and how much did they pay u to take it! :) hope it works out for ya

I have already contacted a guy about the SAS - if I have some more free time on my hands I might get it moving sometime this coming fall.

Too bad my garage is still full of furniture and toys and has no power.... otherwise I would have the truck apart already and prepped for mods.

I'll save some of the "before photos... :D

I guess as long as the frame is straight, anything is possible... the frame is straight right?????? Right???!!!!!

that's what 'm trying to find out. I need measurements between frame rails. At the very front, right where radius arm brackets are attached and right under tranny support bracket.

I just want to see if the frame is off and by how much...

Sorry about the delay...I injured my self last weekend during a Cape code Beach run. Now that the rain has stopped I can breake out the tape measure after work tonight...

I'm scraping it... frame is off... it's pushed in about 3/4 of an inch oin the pass side... truck is not straight.

Looking for something straight - if you know what I mean?

93 or 94

4 door

automatic

Sorry to hear it didn't work out.. At least you've got time before next years anniversary run to find and build a new one...

I know. I'm on the lookout. :D
