2005 Explorer XLT
I bought my dream 2005 Explorer 10 days ago. It drove fine. After 3 days the transmission was slipping. After 7 its not drivable. We lived for 5 months with no car in order to save and add to our tax return. My mom advanced us $1000 because we hadn't received the money yet and she saw how excited I was. The seller screwed me and vanished. He disguised the bad transmission with an additive that lasted a couple of days. I have no money, no vehicle and just found out... No tax refund to repay my mom. It was garnished by the state for taxes owed on a previous year.
I can't stop crying.

So sorry to hear about the issues. It's of no consequence now, but I do go by the belief that time wounds all heels. The guy who sold you that Explorer will wind up getting it back worse.
