It works when I open the passenger door. Also should there be a headlight left on warning sound?

Headlight on,Keys in ignition,Warning chimes not working

They do not work. What can I check or clean?

I had to pull my door panel off and replace the switch on the latch. Mine was broken in half. I had tried to spray wd-40 on it and all the other quick fixes but pulling it apart revealed it was broken. I ended up getting a replacement out of the passenger rear door of an explorer. Everything works fine now.

Thanks! How do I repair or replace it?

I tried the WD-40. It loosened up the handles, which is great. But it didn't fix the light problem. I guess I do need a switch.

I noticed too that the light under the mirror on the drivers side doesn't come on either.

Are we talking about the switch that's in the door jamb?

On my 92 Expl, driver door open, no dome light. pass door open, dome light works.

So, is it the driver side door jamb switch that's the problem?
