Driver Side Window Probs. 96 Bronco

Hope someone can help......

My 96 Bronco window goes down fine.....but getting it up is a prob.....

When I try to put it up, it comes up about 1/2 inch, then just jumps in place....if i help pull it up, it goes up. Then about the last 2 inches, I have to pull it all the way up, while holding the button up.

Any Clues??

you have a stripped nylon gear inside your window motor....i believe you can get one at most major autoparts or buy a replacement motor...look up kbabiak as he is a used part vendor here and he can hook you up....
