drivers door switch won't lock doors....

I can unlock the doors with the button, but pushing lock does nothing, probably just the swich right??

Mine is doing the same thing right now. Usually you can just get a new switch, or even pull it out and clean the contacts. It's a 99% chance it's going to be a simple fix.
 






door switch...

I had the similar problem....turned out was the wiring connectors in the barrel between the the door and front panel. It is a mess of wires down there so I didn't attempt it. My mechanic knew exaclty where the problem was and took 10 minutes to fix it....he claims the wire gauge is too thin and tends to "break" with the constant vibration of daily driving.
You could check to see if the switch is getting juice with a meter...if the wire is hot then its' the switch , if not its the problem I described.
