Getting the drivers side, rear bolt out of the upper control arm.
I had a heck of a time with this, but this little write up may help someone else. There are two hard line fuel lines running up and down where the bolt needs to back out to. First, break off the bracket holding them to the wheel well. Next, follow the lines down and you'll see a green tape holding them together, marked "fuel." I cut this tape so they could be pushed apart a little bit.
Take the nut and the plate off the right side. Tap the bolt out to the left till it's at the fuel lines. There's an offset plate attached to this bolt, kinda looks like [.]
The trick is how the heck do you get that plate past the fuel lines?!? In these instructions, I'm looking at it from the back (left line means the one closest to the wheel). I turned the plate toward the engine, pulled the left fuel line down and toward me, and slipped the plate past the left line. I then turned the plate away from the engine, pushed the right fuel line up and toward the engine. This will let you back the bolt out a little further and get past the right fuel line. The bolt is now most of the way out, and the running between both fuel lines. Turn the plate back toward the engine again, and tap it back and toward the engine compartment. The bolt/plate hits another bar in there, but it was out far enough I could muscle the control arm out. I tapped the new arm in there with the aid of a BFH (Big F*cking Hammer) and reversed the process to get the bolt back in. The bolt never came all the way out - just far enough to pull the arm out.
This technique is a PITA, but it worked.. Good luck! Stay at it and you'll get it eventually!
