ok on my explorer i have dual exhaust. there are no cats no nothing just straight pipe to glass packs i was wondering if i was to cut the glass packs off and put no muffler on would it be louder or sound better. the glass packs make my truck sound really dumb the guy i bought it from was a moron. thanks.

No mufflers would be louder and sound even worse than what it does already.

The rule of bumping a thread is once a day, you didn't even wait 40 minutes... Give it some time for people to see it.

k thats all i needed. the reason i bumped so quick was because i was going to go out and buy a hack saw and cut them off. but thanks.

are there no pipes past the glasspacks? If there aren't, there is your sound problem, to sound good glasspacks need tailpipes, decently long past them...
