DUI in the Exploder!

Well just got out of the county jail from a 9 day bid... This was absolute bulls. Not 2 weekz after installing my new A4LD trans. hahaha, I get pulled over by this pig. It took me awhile 2 get my exploder going good again and then Bam! Its getting towed off to the impound tow yard.I was coming home from a friends house last week on Wedensday when I had only 3 beers. I worked hard all day and deserved to have a drink or 2. I was "MILDLY BUZZED" trust me I was fine to drive.
Anywayz, I was going down a road of a town Manassas Park (a town of its own) when I pull into they're local 7-11 to get gas and a soda. I saw the cop sitting before the entrance on the side of the road, looked like he was doing some paper work or somthing but probally sittin around with his thumb up his a$$. After I pumped up I left the parking lot out a parallell exit from the entrance I think what happened was is I did a "California Rolling Stop" at the stop sign. I didnt have my neons on or anything, but maybe it was the washer nozzle L.E.D.s that come on when I turn the running lights on. Either way he had me. When I finally got downtown I blew a .09. The Legal limit in V.A. is .08, this did not apply to me though because Im only 20. I could of blew a .04 and still have been aressted. After going over the police report the officer stated "I pulled over this indivdual after noticing him driving down Manassas drive in a Ford Explorer with L.E.D. lights on and did not satisfactorily pass a breathilizer".It ended up in a plea of-D.U.I. under 21 Y.O.A.- and a $2,000 fine 6 month license suspension.
I dont know how much it is to bail my Expo out yet, Im gonna call tomorrow 2 find out how much it is... it might not even be worth it

If I were you, I don't know if I would have even posted that here- I'm sure the comments will include:

- If legal age is 21 there (I don't know if it is) and you're 20, why were you drinking anyway?
- You ran a stop sign
- You probably have what is usually called illegal external lighting- if he wrote it up that way
- You were drunk if you describe yourself as "mildly buzzed" since we all underestimate that anyway
- You failed a breathalizer if you even were legal to drink
- You called an officer whom some on here have relatives with that occupation a "pig" because he did his job?
- You could have possibly killed someone somehow

Not to judge because that isn't my job, but really- I feel bad for ya, since you just got the Ex back on the road, but honestly- what part of your story are we supposed to sympathize with?

I'm not sure how many will agree with me on the forum but look on the bright side, at least you didnt careem through another car and killed someone. Considering that you were drunk, things definitely could have turned out worst than what they are now. So chin up, take it as a learning experience -- next time, hopefully you'll know better and wont pick up that bottle of beer.

What in the heck were thinking. You are 20.....Get this through your head that your are 20. You have to be 21 to drink. I wish that they were harder on people who are not responsible enough to follow the law. You man think that you earned that beer but the fact of the matter is that you didnt. I dont wish any more problems on you but get a grip man and grow up. Driving while drunk is stupid. You may have thought you were buzzing but you were drunk. Why you posted here thinking it BS is beyone me or anyone else on the board.

Hold up, Hold up man,,Iam not asking for any sympathy, If I can vote here in the United States, Go to war in Iraq and DIE for this country ,ect. at 18 years old,, I can damn well have a beer if I want, Im sure some of you on here remember the dayz when the legal drinking age was 18.
I'm not encouraging anyone to go drink and drive at all, it was extremly retarded of me, but I did pass all of the ocifers (officers) sobriety tests accept for the small blower thing he had in his cruiser which is totally inaccurate anyway...

It's never been legal to drink and drive.

As for what IZ described- here it is-

My buddy at work fought in Desert Storm, came home safely, and 2 years later his wife was seriously injured and and his 8 year old son was killed by someone in an accident when the other guy couldn't negotiate a off-ramp traffic light- and that guy blew a .09- Go figure... And that dude was 27.

No offense, but I doubt that you'll get much sympathy here... And now the breathalyzer was totally inaccurate?

Let see, your a minor under the influence of alcohol, a minor driving under the influence, You blew a .09, which is over the limit. You already have 3 traffic/criminal offenses against you. I suggest just dropping any attempt to fight the charges and just plea bargain down to lesser charges. Learn from your mistakes and wait till your 21 to drink and abstain from drinking when you have to drive. Try calling an officer a pig and see what will happen, just remember their job is a high stressed environment and they only conducted a traffic stop cause you displayed signs of being under the influence. Just remember that when you go to court and the officer by chance is asked your mood during the traffic stop certain characteristics like will affect your outcome.


In regards to the PBT (personal breathalizer test) I highly doubt that thing was inaccurate..
