Dumb question but how do I know If....

I have AWD, 4WD or 2WD? I have a 1999 Explorer XLT V8. 5.0

I am not sure which drivetrain is equipped on the vehicle? don't see any knobs for 4WD or AWD either--thanks

Welcome to the site, you probably have AWD, the v8's were all AWD or 2WD, the easiest way to tell is to just look under it, if it has a front diff, driveshaft, etc, then it's AWD, if not then it's 2WD. Hope that answers you question.

Right under the driver door, look up. Do you see a driveshaft pointing toward front of truck?
