I installed the supplied extension that came with rear part of the Superlift 5.5" kit, but the only problem is that I also have a 2" body lift, which had cause my E-brake to already be tight. Now, I can get the cable all together, but is so tight I can't even get one click out of it. I thought I remembered some of you saying you had bought Ford Ranger E-brake cables to fix this? Has anyone else this problem?

Thanks,
E-brakeless Mat

ideas anyone?

hmmm

Did you ever have the e-brake recall performaed Mat?

If so, check it see if there is chock in the ratching mech. I found with my '93, with that chock in we couldn't get it to move either.

Pull out the chock, and bingo! everything adjusted.

Left rear Ranger e-brake.

A chock? hmmm... I'm not really sure, but I'll check. Even if that is there though I doubt that it is the problem because the problem is simply with the length of the line. I'll probably have to visit the junk yard or something.
