I was wondering if anyone has anyone run across a difference in 1991 year Explorer wiring. Iv'e had my engine removed for some time (doing an engine swap) and was looking at two round connectors off the old engine harness on the drivers side. One of them is gray and the other is black. I cant seem to find the round black female connector on the wiring loom on my Explorer. Mine was built 1990 so I'm wondering if wiring changes were made during the first year the Explorer was made, possibly it has a similar wiring harness to a Bronco II?
