Early Sploder Mods

I'm new here so I guess this has been answered a bazillion times, but here goes?

Does anyone have the complete write-up on Lee & Gloria Zimmerman's Sploder mods?

I will be retiring in a few years from the Park Service and I want to continue to work part time doing trail condition assesments (erosion, reroute planning, etc.). I'll need a 4x4 that is comfy to drive from site to site while capalble of getting up the trail. Of course I'd like A/C, cruise, ewindows, etc.

My big Bronco is too wide for some trails, so I was thinking about building a B2 or a Sploder. I go slow, don't jump, try to drive around the black diamond rock sections, but you'all know that you need articulation to keep going and that rig has it.

Any help greatly apreciated so i can start collecting bits and pieces. Broc

Instead of just looking for the zimmerman truck, look around in this forum and the sub forums. Many people have detailed writeups on their modifications. Mine is the SAS link in my sig.
