Well, I talked to Kyle at Paragon, and we are tentatively scheduled for the 19-21st. He just e-mailed me the reservation form, and I need to get it filled out and returned, WITH a $150.00 deposit. Sooooo, I guess it's time to ante up to the bar.

You are correct John, the deposit is part of the fee that you won't have to pay later. If we get over 15 trucks, we go mucho cheaper. He didn't give me a drop dead date, but the sooner the better so we lock in our run.

ok, quick question, jeff and I were there the last time we went out and there was a problem, too many trucks in one line, which slows everyone down, I think that we should separate into 2 groups, one of trucks that are willing to do heavyer struff, and one that wanna keep it easier, I for one really want more of a challenge but there may be some ppl not willing to do this, so this is why I think this is a good idea, what do u all think????

I think we will have to have at least 2 groups 'cause of the variances in trucks. Kyle said that we didn't need a guide if we didn't want one since we have been there a couple of times. I told him we would probably want one anyways.. Maybe the class I or Class II group can have the guide, and the others go off to the tough stuff.

Count me in.....

Pending on whether we split into two groups or not, mmmaybe I'll go with the easyriding team, but if not then I don't mind tagging along and being the gang photographer (just got a $350 high tech Olympus that I'm dyin' to try out).

I'm still in.

I will be with the easygoing (too hungover to go hard) group.
BTW who's planning on camping?

:chug:

I'm almost positive that I'll be there.

What level trails are the tougher group going to take?

I'd guess 3. Chris and I did level 3 last time, and I passed on 2 trails 'cause I didn't have a locker or my rock sliders on. Chris made it through all of the trails with his L/S rear and the lift. I'm gonna put a locker in before the trip this time, and hopefully my sliders will be done in time.

Well I'm still a Maybe

$$$ or Time is not the issue.....I don't know if I will have my truck...or anything to go wheeling with at that time.... if I dont I would still love to come and hop in on someone who is going for the hard trails.....Problem is....I know that my kids wouldn't want to miss this opportunity either....

Karol

I'm still in!

Count me in

Count me in unless something else comes up. I'll let you know later who else I'm bringing.

-Willie

jeff, i'm in. i'll also email you directly

Well, glad i found this thread. Go ahead and put me on the list. Like everyone else, i won't know for sure until the date comes closer. I'd like to try a little harder stuff, but i'm not in for all the rock slidding stuff!! I'll probably be camping to save some money!

Happy trails!!

As much as I'd like to say I'm a definate...I'm gonna have to say I'm somwhere in the middle at this point. I'm working on a deal right now to make some MAJOR drivetrain changes on the Chile Pepper, so she may be under constuction by the time the Paragon run happens.

still a maybe

jeff,

I want to come, but I may have a schedule conflict- My Fathers retirement party is going to be that weekend or the weekend before -the time should be decided this week..I hope!. So as soon as I know Ill let you know.

Bump Bump....ANYONE ELSE?????

OK, since I gotta start moving on this, how 'bout we do it the same way as the Serious Exploration runs. $20 up front for everyone driving, and it counts towards your entry fee. I have to get the form off to Paragon ASAP so we don't get screwed out of that weekend. E-mail me or PM me, and I'll get you the address to send it to. I'll also be sending out a global e-mail this weekend (hopefully)

Thanks,

Jeff

OK, here's some info on Paragon:

Cost to ride I'm still working this out with Paragon. It is based on # of trucks and # of days. I'll keep you posted. I'll probably have the answer on Monday or Tuesday. Also a tip for the guide. We'll probably break into 2 groups, 1 guided for those unfamiliar with Paragon or new to wheeling, and 1 unguided for those who are familiar with Paragon and have more seriously modified trucks.

Spas, we'll exempt you from the Kitty since a Ride-a-long only costs $5/person. :bounce:

Basic vehicle requirements:

Seat belts for all occupants
Four Wheel Drive vehicle equipped with low range
Hard mounted tow hooks front (and rear, or class III hitch)
Seat belts for all occupants

Full size spare
Fire Extinguisher
Extra Fluids
