I think I'll be staying in the Forest Hills hotel again-IMO they were pretty nice last time. Then again, there's always the back of the Explorer! ;)

Jot, there was a cool looking nightclub about 10 minutes from the hotel that had life size replicas of the Blues Brothers dancing on the balcony, if that's your scene....

Spas, sounds cool, i might check it out for dinner but i'm not much a dancer nor do i drink, so that's cool and all. Looking forward to meeting everyone there. Getting closer.

Happy trails!!

I sent in the money
I'm 21
My passenger
Is 21 and Mechanic for Volvo
We are possible staying a Forest Hill Hotel as well

JD, check is in the mail.

I'm 31 and I'd like to pick up some ECX stickers from you at Paragon if that's possible. Also, does anyone plan to do 3 and 4 level trails? Not sure what the trail ratings are there. Maybe I'll wait to see what they have. I'll be locked by then so it should be fun.

LOL! Me either, on both counts, but I find that the nuts on this site really love to party :)

Chris, what was the name of that nice restaurant across from the hotel? Hmmm, then again, since you say YOU can COOK, maybe we should all come over to your new pad, eh? LMAO

Hey, has anyone asked the Rough Rangers if they're coming yet? Every time I try to join that damn board it tells me some technical garbage and says "NO, you can't come in! Mwa ha haa" or somesuch...

EXP, check out the Paragon website, if you go to the "map" section and click on "Paragon trail map", you will get a map of the entire park, then you can click on some of the trails to get pics of some of the obsticles.
Here is the link to the site:

http://www.paragonap.com/paragon.htm

you can get a good taste of what they serve out there.....

ME? COOK? ... you did say you all wanted to spend the weekend on the trail not the hospital right??? lmao j/k...
lets see what happens... were closing on the house this friday....

Hey Chris, is it my imagination, or did Paragon change their trail rating system recently??

Well Jeff

I guess they's have to .....they are cutting new trails more often now.... it seems as if some of the Level 3 trails probably could be rated level 2 and 1 now because (as Lynn explained it to me) they move things around.....taking out stumps.....moving boulders and rocks.....sometimes they find a good level 3 or 4 trail and go ahead and work on the older trails to make them more passable.... most of the level 1 trails were all around the same spot last year.... I guess it's to make the park bigger and better....

:p :p

I'm with Spas, maybe everyone could pitch in and help cook at Chris's, if you don't mind of course!

Happy trails!!

i will be staying at my grandparents in hazleton for the weekend or at my apartment in bloomsburg, but i have seen the campgrounds before and tey are all nice in the area. for those of you that will be needing hotel rooms the hapton inn off of 93 and 81 is fairly new and clean. it was built fairly recently.

i have one question for those of you that have been there before though. when paragon says that you need a full size spre do they mean that is has to match your current tire size? i have 32's and a 30 spare on my truck, will that be ok? i sure hope so.

News Flash

OK, the campgrounds don't open until May.

Who wants to go half on a room?

Forest Hill Inn
61.05 per night 2 people

Confort Inn
$98.48 per night 2 people
continental breakfast/hbo/free local calls

Hampton
$109.89 per night 2 people
continental breakfast/hbo/free local calls

I know we can slip in a third person to make the cost go down. We did that at the Superlift event and whenever we goto the Badlands.

someone would have to sleep on the floor, but with a sleeping bag and a mat I'd be willing to do that. I don't really care to be honest.

Let me know because we need to make reservations now.

Sounds alright with me, the cheaper the better, i'm a little low on the $$, trying to pay off some bills.

What about this one, http://www.paragonap.com/paragon.htm, go to their Paragon Links, and check it out. Says that it is $38 per night up to 4 people just by saying "paragon" Might be worth calling and asking.

But either way, i'll do it, i have an air mattress i can bring it we need, no biggy.

Happy trails!!

That's just and event link....what are you talking about?

OK people, I have a grand total of 3 deposits so far! :fire: If you really wanna go, let's get some deposits. If I don't get enough money for a deposit, we don't get the weekend and we are RUNNING OUT OF TIME!!! It's not like the money disappears. It is applied to the fee when we get there.

Come on folks, lets get the man some money, $20 is that much money!

2k1- If you click on that link look at the bottom and click on "paragan links" it shows some motels and a camp site. Let me know what you think.

Happy trails!!

The Forrest Hill Inn

will give you a discount just by saying you are going to Paragon . As I've said....they are very familiar with us Paragon people

Jeff...Although I'm not sure about if I am coming or not I will send you the deposit anyway... you can always just send it back if I am unable to attend....

Good GOD!

I'm gone for ONE night and there's 15 replies to this thread when I look at it! Damn! LOL

Okay- Lizardtrac and I (and Yob too, I think) have all done time at the Forest Hills inn-It's very clean, the heat and AC work great, there's a tv, shower, all the free soap you can steal, etc. I said I was with a Paragon group last time (Some group, eh, Chris?:D ) and I got my room for roughly $50. It had two beds though and there's just one of me. I don't bite and as long as you don't snore like a friggin' jackhammer, anybody who's strapped for cash is welcome to have the spare bed in my room this time. (Or the floor, or the tub, or whatever)

Bigcheck- we had a tire blow last time and we had to 'borrow' from one of the other trucks so that the sizes would match up (or didn't Venumb have a spare? I forget). I strongly suggest you bring a spare that fits the current size tire on your truck, cuz it'll get ugly right quick!

2001Exp-that's plethora , you goon! :p >Spas the English expert< bonus points for knowing what it means, though ;)

JDraper-I know I'm just riding along, but should I send some moola too? Anything to help out.

Speaking of riding along, have we decided what trails to take or are we going to decide when we get there? I'm gonna put in my bid for Lizard to be trail leader if we take the tuff stuff, but if we all agree on a level 1 trail, I may take mine out on the run...

(I still want to race anybody who's interested! :D )
