Hi, I'm planning to install a 8 inch sub in the Factory sub location since I blew the JBL sub. I have a four channel Sherwood XA-1240Q BP series amp, on the top is written "3 way power 4 channel amplifier 240w". How would i hook up the speaker connections to the amp to just power one sub using all its available power? The amp itself is kinda confusing too, on one end it has 2 pairs of RCA's with an adjuster thing next to each jack(like on a crossover and u use a tiny finger screwdriver to turn it) pointing to each RCA jack. next to one RCA it has written CH1.ADJ next to the adjuster thing and BTL 1. beside on the right of that one is an RCA jack that has written CH3.ADJ next to the adjuster thing with BTL2 next to it. Then under those jacks are two more with just CH2.ADJ and CH4.ADJ with the adjuster things but without the word BTL... On this same side has switches, one u can select either Flat or Sub, whats this for? and two more switches with BTL1 On or OFF and BTL2 on or OFF??
On the other side has the battery and speaker terminals. the speakers are configured like this, u can hook up 4 speakers normally, but then theres a plus and negative sign with BLT 1 and BLT 2 on the same set of terninals. Is this so it can be switched to 2 channels??
Please help me so I can wire the amp to just run one sub with the most possible power, and please explain all this stuff on this amp and how i would connect the input wires from straight off the factory amps wires. Ive already ran power directly from the battery, all i want it to save myself time by just cutting off the harness going into the JBL sub amp and connect it to my amp. Would i need to use a line converter or somthing?
I will appreiciate help with the most detail as possible so i can do it myself.

Thanz a lot
Troy,
