I thought it was funny when i read this about the 4.0 SOHC on some comment for an EBAY auction:

Engine and Drivetrain
The 4.0 V6 SOHC engine is the best V6 that Ford offers. This engine has the performance of a V8 and economy of a four cylinder. Mated with a perfect 5-speed automatic overdrive transmission, the performance is outstanding and it is fun to drive knowing that you are not burning up the fuel. I could not find a single problem and because the overall condition is so nice I expect the maintenance has been fastidious.

But yeah... the 4.0sohc isn't bad, but milage better than a 4 banger? nah!
