woooooow. why the hell would you do that. i got three also.

that has to be way up there on my list of stupid a$$ ppl and vehicles. 18,000 in lift? who in there right mind would do that?
< not this guy
anyways i agree, a thread on stupidest ebay ads

SCARY!!! it's a mix between showtruck/offroader....
haha
Your other question was do I off-road the truck, and the answer is NO. Something this nice you keep it for the streets, the party's, the clubs, car shows, the lake and as your personal BADASS vehicle

Well look on the bright side. He didnt waste a hi pinion dana 60 front end to do it. Its not my cup of tea but from the distance pictures it looks like the shop did a realatively decent job for what it is. I can see what he had done costing 18k especally at a shop.

New rear axle w gears $1000
Mod rear driveshaft $400
4 super hi leaf springs custom $2000
Custom front axle deal $1500
8 resivour shocks $3200
new steeering box TRES and linkage and histeer arm $1000
Super bling rims and tires $3000

Thats over 12k in parts alone Add in the labor of doing teh SAS including installing a new steering box and geeting teh spedo to read right and I see costing $18k to do that a resonable price. whould I ever do it or want to NO. But to each his own.

dana 70 up front eh? i dont see no pumpkin.

how does it steer? i dont even see knuckles up front?

Like some RC cars, all you can do is drive in a straight line..

exactly he keeps talking about the d70's front abd rear, and the 5.10??? gears. When asked about the front axle he said its a 2wd truck with a d70 up front....?

Where is the front pig and how the hell do you steer it????????

I think its an axle tube from a D70 with the diffy removed. Why? I dunno!

it looks to skinny for a d70 tube, plus without the diff it wouldnt reach anyways would it? he also says the front was regeared!

Yes, its just a tube replacing the axle tubes and diff, between the "D70" inner knuckles. It works great if you just want 2wd.

still think its stupid....he could have spent the big bucks on a decent 2wd pre runner lift.
still think its stupid....he could have spent the big bucks on a decent 2wd pre runner lift.
But there is no way there is a pre runner lift made for that much lift. If he only wanted a truck with huge tires, for the "streets, partys, and clubs" :)D) which would NEVER see offroad, why waste the money on a front diff, t-case, driveshaft, etc. I think it's a pretty good idea, for what the guy wanted, lots of lift, all for looks.

That truck is SICK!!
It is very SoCal.

Something is fishy though. He has dropped the starting bid to $2.80 (originally $28,000?), no reserve, removed all modification prices, and posted $3000 as the buy price???

its a scam btw, youcan tell directly when they say 3,000 US, the US is what gives it away in my book. Its like those auctions yu see once in awhile for a 440 6 pack for only 6,000 US!!!! lol

Cause he knows that he is screwed.
I hope everyone knows that I was kidding about liking this thing. :D
I hate highway 4Xs!
