ECM and Transmission troubles

Hmm, What's the ECT sensor, where's it at, and how do I test it.

I dont smell any gas though. And dont have LED tails. Just the good ol stockers.

The ECT is the engine coolant temperature sensor. Here's a chart from # 25 in my list of useful threads:

OK, so I was looking in the compartment at the back of the truck, which has the tire iron, and bottle jack.

There are 2 or 3 different computers back there! Would one of these have anything to do with the OD circuit?

On my '92, the OD circuit is not routed through that area. The transfer case shift computer is back there, and the trailer light relays are back there, but nothing for the transmission.
