Engine replacement question

Thinking of replacing my engine on my 2002 Ford Explorer XLS 4WD, but I was trying to figure out if I can replace my 4.0L V6(286K miles) with a 4.6L V8?
Also, would it fit right in without modifications?

I would say you'll need 4.6l wiring harness. 5r55s transmission And its wiring. Motor mounts. Exhaust y-pipe. Cross members . computers. Radiator. And anything from a 4.6l but yes it can be don. Used 4.6l 2002 to 2005 are $700 to $1800. New about $2800 at autozone.
