I have had this issue off and on for a while.. And usualy after a couple of days of it it just goes away.. What happenes is i pull up to a stop light/sign. And when i accelerate after coming to a stop the engine seems like it isnt getting fuel. It jumps from idle to about 1500rpm while i hold my foot on the accelerator at a constant pressure. And then after a few seconds of up down revs it finally gets a constant RPM and is fine. As long as i am moving i have no problems. It is just after that stopping scenario. There is no check engine light on. It is a 2000 Limited v-6 SOHC..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check and/or clean your MAF sensor. There is a lot of information regarding this sensor (especially on how to clean it).
