Two questions..

One, is there any chance that a flowmaster catback for a 91 to 94 explorer could fit a 95 to 97 with a sohc? I cant believe that the exhaust changed that much between the first two generations

Also, I know that the rear shocks are the same from 91 to 01, but can the front shocks off a TTB be installed on a 97 IFS?

the exhaust is pretty different, doubt it will bolt right up. im guessing u have a donor truck your using parts off from... that doesnt mean you cant use the muffler and have an exhaust shop make up up a pipe to fit but the cat back systems for 2nd gens arent that expensive so. and as for the front shocks i have no idea lol sry

what part of jersey r u from

lower mounting points are different.
sure, they are both eyelet, but the IFS has the "strap" through the eyelet whereas the TTB just took a bolt.

the compressed and extended lengths are (possibly) different between IFS and TTB.

as for exhaust; nope. Not as a bolt-on, anyway. 2nd gen also uses 2 different V6's. The SOHC and OHV. Although I'm not sure which style the 1st gen 4.0 was.
That's not to say you couldn't get it to work. It just wouldn't be as easy as bolting it in place.

I think you're better off buying the right exhaust and suspension. You're not saving much by buying the wrong parts from Summit Racing, then trying to make them work.
