Explorer Banned

my explorer got band from my own hometown today...i'm not allowed within city limits for 30 days...i guess there are multiple complaints because it is too loud....weird, i never thought that would happen to my X

I don't think that is too legal either, but what do I know. Maybe you should look into that and sue someone I wouldn't think you couldn't drive your property on public roads.

uhh I dont think a town can ban your car unless they've given you multiple citations and even then there typical response is to just ticket it, ticket it some more, then tow it.

actually it isn't legal......the chief of police is basically black mailing me...he said he was going to file the complaints and give me an "accessive acceleration" charge..unless i stay out of town....not much i can do though considering no one would take my side beacuse i am only a kid

All Explorer owners drive into finn's town and play their music real loud. You get extra points for having a loud exhaust system...

How is he going to bust you for accessive acceleration after the fact? He would have had to bust you while you were doing it. Not a week later.

Just a thought, but couldn't we sign a petition or have a mass amount of e-mailings, or something to the mayor and complain about the police. If we would gather enough support from enough people, something might get done. We do have 10,000+ members on this site supporting us.

yeah...i got some revenge today...i drove my sisters new accord into to town and neutral drooped that **** right in front of the cop shop....left some nice marks too.......

...i know it would be hard to actually giving me a ticket after the fact but i live in a town with like 900 people so its hard for anyone to say agianst the police's word...

settle down g's......i don't drive my ex like i'd drive some cheap ass ricer car....i just have no respect for foreign ****....and what is so wrong with a loud car? half the cars in my town have exhaust that is rusted to nothing already so most everything is pretty loud as is....

i think the only real reason he wanted to get me inot trouble is because he has a piece of **** silverado that is not half as nice as my ex
