I'm guessing Ford is going to keep the Sport awhile longer. The colors for 2002 have been changed so I'm thinkin that means it will be around for awhile. The sport is available in Yellow now. Check it out: www.fordvehicles.com

well it is ford's only 2 door suv. so i think it'll be around a little longer. unless they drop the X sport and go for a 2 door escape....
