Explorer Starting Problems,Help!!

Ok, Still having problems starting 02 explorer xls v6. I have replaced spark plugs, wires, & fuel filter. 117,000 miles. When I go to start the truck it fires for a sec. then dies out. I then wait a few seconds and I must start the truck while my foot is pressed on the gas pedal all the way down. I am not sure what to do next. Every now and again I use a bottle of fuel injector cleaner mixed with the gas. It will usually start but 3 times out of 10 I have this problem. I have had this truck for 6 years and it has done this for the past 3 years, but lately it has gotten very worse.

I think tomorrow i'll take it in and have it plugged into a computer to see if it finds anything.

i had a similar problem there were my intake manifold gasket but i herd also could be your idle air control valve
