Has anyone put the James Duff or other extended RA's on thier truck and have a good close up picture of it. I'm trying to figure out dimensions (length width height) or the RA's and how/where they'll mount.
Thanks.

I've got one in my elite photo gallery, just a side view but it should help.

That's what ive been scratching my head about. How long is the extended RA that you have? On thier website they say its 15" longer than stock. Stock arm is ~21" from front to back, that makes the extended RA ~38". My measurements from the middle of the TTB to the trans cross member are 39.75" plus there is 1" from front tip to where the bolt and nut connect on the RA. So my calculations are that I need a 40.75" long RA. Not a 38" RA.

Or does there drop bracket make up the missing 2+". From the pic it doesnt look that way.

Also the Supperrunner extended RA is only 37" long.

My arms came with a new crossmember, and I believe on one side the RA brackets and the crossmember bolt in the holes for the stock one. If you are trying to make your own I would not make them based on a given length. Make your brackets so they'll bolt up conveniently and then see how long you need to make the arms. An inch or 2 won't make much difference.

I have a picture, but no scanner. I had to buy a cross member. If you are running single shocks, you'll have to modify the JD arms.

I agree with byrd, A guy over at rrorc, Foley makes a cool looking set.

I can't find my close up pics of the Duff arms, but they end at the tranny crossmember (the arms uses a new crossmember as it's mounting point).
