Just wanted to let you guys know, I can also do longtravel TTB's for the 4x4 guys now. I didn't want to post on here until I found a good axle source, and now I have! 300M axles in almost any length you want for a good price:thumbsup:
Here's a 4x4 expo I recently did...extended 4.5" per side and 4" of lift built into the beams. 16" travel.

So with 4 inches of lift in the beams means i can dump the Drop brackets or ???

...Subscribing to see the cool Rangers...:D

...I have someone who might be interested in doing something like this to his stock 95 2wd Ranger..;)

..Btw, is that Jeepspeed's X???

what about a certain someone with a 4WD ranger ? :p:

...I can't afford to pay for a FW 9" rear end too...

yes, you can ditch the dropdown brackets.

yes, it is jeepspeed's expo....and I do extended 2wd beams all the time :)

have you done this with a coilover on the front of the beam? My current shocks come in contact with my steering at full lock but I am wanting to go this route if I keep my truck.

Shoot me a PM with a price on the beams set up trussed like that with C/O mount and also how much for the axle shafts.

I have a stock set of beams I can give you for cores or to work off.

Can you shoot me a PM also on what a full set of the D35 300M axles runs? (stock D35 width, not extended)? Just curious what they go for.

I assume it would be all 6 parts:
2 outer stubs
D-side inner
P-side main
P-side inner (at the diff)
P-side slipyoke

Thanks

honestly, that may get pricey for all the pieces. when we do extended ones, only the main shafts are replaced, not all the pieces. Thier specialty is axle shafts, not really cv's and u-joints if that makes sense.

You guys are really getting into this... keep up the good work. I've taken a look at your 2nd gen bumper... nice.

hmmmm i think were wayyyyy past the point of no return here lol :D

Thanks for the kind words...I'm trying to branch out some into the 4x4 realm a bit. the desert scene is real small compared to other forms of offroading.

whatcha mean?? :D

Hm... an idea: Skid Plates.. get creative with that one... bolt ons will sell better than anything.

I see...
What's the reason behind using 300M then? Wouldn't like a 1541 alloy be the same but cheaper? (because it will only be as strong as any remaining stock pieces)

The place I'm talking to uses nothing but 300m... they said they could do other alloys, but since the quantity would be low, and it would require a different heat treat, it's cheaper for them to do 300m

I gotcha, cool deal then (thanks for the info). :chug:
